Topic: "The Growing Search for Purpose and Meaning in the Lives of Baby Boomers”

After completing his MBA David began his career in the financial services industry in 1992. He has been a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) since 1998 and became a Portfolio Manager in 2002.

Over the last 28 years he has served on the Board of Directors for many local charities and foundations and received numerous provincial and national awards for excellence in professional financial planning and contributions to the community.

In 2013 he was awarded the FPSC designation as a ‘Fellow of the Financial Planning Standards Council (now FP Canada).

In 2018 FP Canada asked David to speak at an international conference of Financial Planners and Portfolio Managers held in Birmingham, England. The title of the presentation was “The Growing Search for Purpose and Meaning in the Lives of Baby Boomers” from a Canadian perspective.
