Allan Cleiren, CPA, CA, ICD.D - Mr. Cleiren is the Chief Operating Officer for Aurora Cannabis Inc., a publicly traded company.  He is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 25 years of executive and financial management experience in both private and public companies. His experience includes both operations and finance roles, including being a CFO for publicly traded and privately owned multidivisional companies.  Mr. Cleiren was the Canadian COO for large multinational insurance broker (JLT),  worked for Price Waterhouse Coopers where he earned his Charted Accountant designation and was engaged in audit and tax services, was Senior Vice President Operations and Chief Financial Officer for Afexa Life Science Inc.,  was Executive Vice President and formerly Chief Financial Officer for Universal Rail Systems Inc.  Mr. Cleiren’s responsibilities has included managing support services groups including Human Resource, Safety, Risk Management, Warehouse, Fleet, and Mechanical departments. Mr. Cleiren holds an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors and currently is the Chair of the Alberta Automobile Insurance Rate Board and a Board member for Universal Rail Systems Inc. and Metalogic Inspection Services Inc.  Mr. Cleiren has held several other director positions in not-for-profit and for profit organizations.
